ABOUT THE PLAY

Cast 3M, 2F

As the saying goes, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans” and audiences will laugh out loud with this heartwarming comedy about family! Beginning in 1980, the story follows Ruthie and Bill’s three wildly different children—a priest, an aspiring actress, and a former football star who all come home for the holidays.
Spanning 30 years, we laugh, cry, and celebrate with them through Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter. Through changing times, dreams, and family quirks, this play reminds us that even the messiest moments bring us closer.
