Township of
North Dumfries Grant
Ayr Community Theatre extends our heartfelt thanks to the Township of North Dumfries for their ongoing commitment to fostering the arts and supporting the value of our work. The Township has granted ACT $16,700, which will be applied toward the cost of our rent. This generous support will play a significant role in the success of our 2025 season. Madelyn Ann Dalrymple Memorial
Fund
ACT are the proud recipients of the Madelyn Ann Dalrymple Memorial Fund received through the Waterloo Region Community Foundation. On November 15, 2022, Ayr Community Theatre received a grant of $1,000 to support the important work we are doing in the community. We are equally proud to share that we received this grant again in 2023, marking the second year in a row that we have been honored with this generous support. https://www.wrcf.ca/
Cultural Drivers of Tourism Grants
Ayr Community Theatre would like to sincerely thank the Cultural Drivers of Tourism initiative for their generous grant of $600 in 2024. This program provides vital funding to arts, cultural, and heritage organizations in recognition of their role in attracting visitors and enriching the lives of residents in Waterloo Region. We are grateful for this support, which helps strengthen our work in bringing vibrant theatre experiences to our community while contributing to the cultural life and tourism of the Region

WRCF Anonymous Fund
Ayr Community Theatre is so fortunate to once again be gifted from an anonymous donor through the Waterloo Region Community Foundation. This generous $5,000 grant will allow us to purchase a new printer and a wireless sound system for our theatre. Any remaining funds will be used to provide free tickets to individuals who may not otherwise be able to attend our shows. We are deeply grateful for this support, which helps us strengthen our theatre operations while also ensuring greater accessibility for our community. https://www.wrcf.ca/
North Dumfries Community
Fund
IAyr Community Theatre is proud to be supported by the North Dumfries Community Fund, held at the Waterloo Region Community Foundation. In 2024, we received a grant of $6,700 from this fund to assist with our production of Brigadoon. We are deeply grateful for this generous support, which helps us bring live theatre to our community.
