Ayr Community Theatre is deeply grateful for the generous support we have received through Waterloo Region Community Foundation in 2026.

$5,000 each from the North Dumfries Community Fund and Anonymous Fund will be used to support our upcoming production of Nunsense. This funding is making a substantial difference as we take on the significant costs of bringing a full production to the stage, including our musicians, technical equipment, draping and other production requirements, for a two week period.

We are also incredibly grateful to the Madelyn Ann Dalrymple Memorial Fund for an additional $1,000 in unrestricted funding. This flexible support allows us to direct funds where they are most needed and helps strengthen the foundation from which our theatre operates.

The support of WRCF and its Fundholders means so much to our small community theatre. It allows us to continue creating opportunities for local performers and volunteers, producing quality live theatre and bringing people together through the arts.

Ayr Community Theatre is very fortunate for the continued support of the Township of North Dumfries, which will provide $16,700 in 2026 toward our facility rental costs.

This support helps give ACT a place to call home...a space where our performers and volunteers can rehearse, create and come together, and where we can share live theatre with our community.

We are incredibly grateful to the Township for recognizing the value of community theatre and helping us continue to grow and thrive in Ayr and North Dumfries.

Ayr Community Theatre would like to sincerely thank the Cultural Drivers of Tourism initiative for their generous grant of $600 in 2024. This program provides vital funding to arts, cultural, and heritage organizations in recognition of their role in attracting visitors and enriching the lives of residents in Waterloo Region. We are grateful for this support, which helps strengthen our work in bringing vibrant theatre experiences to our community while contributing to the cultural life and tourism of the Region

Ayr Community Theatre is so fortunate to once again be gifted from an anonymous donor through the Waterloo Region Community Foundation in 2025. This generous $5,000 grant allowed us to purchase a new printer and a wireless sound system for our theatre. Any remaining funds will be used to provide free tickets to individuals who may not otherwise be able to attend our shows. Ayr Community Theatre is proud to be supported by the North Dumfries Community Fund, held at the Waterloo Region Community Foundation.
