Plot Summary
As the saying goes, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans” and ACT plans to have you roaring with this heartwarming family comedy! Beginning in 1980, the story follows Ruthie and Bill’s three wildly different children—a priest, an aspiring actress, and a former football star who all come home for the holidays.
Spanning 30 years, we laugh, cry, and celebrate with them through Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Easter. Through changing times, dreams, and family quirks, this play reminds us that even the messiest moments bring us closer.
